    Description

    This established financial technology firm operates globally, providing technology and infrastructure solutions to leading banks, card issuers and financial institutions. As the business continues its international expansion, the client is recruiting for a commercially minded and entrepreneurial VP / Director – Enterprise & Commercial Risk, to be based in Singapore.

    Responsibilities

    As a newly created leadership role, you will establish and develop the firm’s Enterprise Risk function from inception, ensuring that governance frameworks evolve in line with the growth and complexity of the business. You will design and implement the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including risk appetite, policies, reporting and committee governance. Working closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, Operations and Technology, you will advise on client, supplier, counterparty and strategic partnership risks, including due diligence, concentration exposure and contingency planning. You will also oversee operational resilience, business continuity, third-party risk and provide second-line oversight across technology and cyber risk. In addition, you will coordinate customer risk assessments and external assurance activities including ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS, while embedding a pragmatic risk culture that supports commercial growth.

    Qualifications

    Degree qualified, you possess at least 10 years of broad-based Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk or Non-Financial Risk experience within payments, fintech or a related financial services environment. Crucially, you will have have built from inception, enterprise risk frameworks within a fast-paced, high-growth organisation, with exposure across multiple risk disciplines including operational risk, third-party risk, business continuity, governance, technology risk and financial crime. Regional or global experience supporting multi-jurisdictional businesses is essential. You are commercially minded, entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented, with the ability to partner senior stakeholders, review commercial arrangements from a risk perspective and build scalable governance capabilities from the ground up.
