VP, Value Creation – Major Private Equity Firm

Responsibilities

You will play an impactful role in developing and overseeing comprehensive value creation strategies for the designated portfolio companies as the fund’s representative on the board. This involves advising and collaborating with leadership teams, engaging founder entrepreneurs, directly executing projects and driving operational and financial improvements. You are strategic, consultative, have a strong grasp of various businesses across functions and ability to build capabilities and teams. Working with members in the value creation team, you will identify untapped business potential and unlock potential business value.

Requirements

You have strong academic qualifications, ideally possessing a MBA and 10 – 15 years of relevant experience. Extensive commercial experience in strategy consulting, business transformation, corporate development/M&A and/or commercial operations is valuable. Experience managing carve-out strategies and post-merger integration projects is an added advantage. You are adept working with multi-disciplinary teams across seniority levels, able to foster cross functional collaboration and oversee talent development. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work in an entrepreneurial, fluid and dynamic environment.
