Yien is an Associate Director in the Technology Practice, with a focus on AI infrastructure and Software Engineering recruitment across APAC. He partners with neoclouds, GPU-as-a-Service providers, and enterprises building large-scale compute platforms, supporting senior appointments across AI infrastructure engineering, platform and software engineering, HPC solution architecture, and technology leadership.
Recent appointments include a Head of Technology and Product for an AI infrastructure platform and a Head of AI Infrastructure Engineering for a GPU-as-a-Service venture. Earlier in his career, Yien spent more than a decade placing software engineering leaders across banking, hedge funds, and the broader technology sector.
Yien brings over 15 years of recruitment experience and holds the NVIDIA-Certified Associate: AI Infrastructure and Operations (NCA-AIIO) certification, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance with Honours from the University of London.
