AVP – Corporate Actions (6 Months Contract)

Our client is a well-established asset management firm seeking an experienced professional to join its investment operations function, with primary responsibility for providing oversight of corporate actions processed by external service providers and custodians.

Tanggungjawab

This role will focus on ensuring that all corporate action events affecting the firm’s portfolios are appropriately identified, assessed, and processed by appointed service providers in a timely and accurate manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing corporate action notifications, validating key economic and non-economic terms, overseeing elections and entitlements, and performing reasonableness checks on bookings and reconciliations performed by third parties.

The role will act as a key control function between portfolio management, custodians, fund administrators and other external vendors, ensuring that service levels, controls and escalation protocols are clearly defined and adhered to. The individual will be expected to challenge service providers where necessary, investigate exceptions or breaks, and drive resolution of issues to minimise operational and financial risk.

Keperluan

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in corporate actions within an asset management, asset servicing or custody environment, with a strong understanding of global markets and outsourced operating models. The role requires sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to operate independently while engaging effectively with both internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
