Head of Legal, Professional Services

We’re currently partnering with a leading professional services platform in Asia to appoint a Head of Legal as part of its senior leadership team. This is a pivotal hire for the business as it continues to scale, offering the opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping the organisation’s growth trajectory while ensuring strong governance and risk management frameworks are in place. Tanggungjawab

The role requires a commercially astute legal leader who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and key stakeholders, providing guidance on complex legal, regulatory, and transactional matters while supporting business expansion initiatives, including M&A and regional growth. A key aspect of the position will involve working closely with private equity stakeholders, so prior experience partnering with PE firms and navigating investor-driven environments is highly valued.

Beyond legal advisory, the role will also oversee the organisation’s compliance and corporate secretarial functions, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This includes establishing and strengthening compliance frameworks, driving corporate governance best practices, managing board and shareholder matters, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of statutory and regulatory compliance.

Keperluan

In order to be successful in this role, you should be an individual already operating in a senior legal leadership capacity, ideally with at least 15 years’ PQE, and a proven track record of partnering closely with business leaders. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience supporting market expansion initiatives and leading M&A transactions, with the ability to navigate complex, cross-border environments. A strong commercial mindset, coupled with the ability to influence at the executive level, will be key to success in this role.
