Legal Counsel – Construction – 3-6PQE

Legal Counsel (APAC) | Singapore

An international engineering and infrastructure group is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its regional team in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Legal, APAC, this role will lead the Singapore legal team, advise business stakeholders across a broad range of issues, and provide legal support for major FEED and EPC projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements in the FEED/EPC space.
• Advise stakeholders on project bids, risks, and related matters.
• Partner with project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Manage contentious matters and coordinate with external counsel.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and guidelines.

Keperluan

• LLB/LLM with 3-6 years PQE, admitted to a Commonwealth Bar (Singapore preferred).
• In-house experience in EPC, utilities, power, or infrastructure, or prior law firm experience in construction/projects.
• Exposure to project execution and dispute resolution preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior multinational exposure;
