Legal Counsel – Luxury Retail, 5+PQE

A leading multinational consumer brand group with a strong presence across Asia Pacific and a portfolio of established brands is strengthening its APAC legal function as part of its continued regional growth. This organisation is seeking a corporate lawyer to join its APAC Legal team. Based in Singapore, this newly created role will support senior regional legal leadership and partner closely with business stakeholders across key Southeast Asian markets.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel for Southeast Asia & Oceania, you will provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal support across a broad range of business and operational matters in the region. Candidates with retail leasing experience will be viewed favourably.

This is a broad general corporate role, supporting Southeast Asia operations through hands-on contract management, legal and regulatory advisory, and compliance policy implementation. Based in Singapore, the role has regional coverage across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with occasional travel required.

Keperluan

• LLB or equivalent from a reputable university
• Qualified lawyer with 5+PQE
• Strong grounding in commercial/corporate law, prior in-house experience required.
• Proven experience working across Asia Pacific markets
• Exposure to real estate, employment law, retail, or FMCG environments is advantageous
• Strong commercial judgment, pragmatic approach, and solutions-oriented mindset
• A valid work visa in Singapore.
