Legal Director (Asset Management Firm)

Our client is a well-backed asset management company, where the Singapore office serves as the hub for the region.

Reporting into the global management team, you will work closely with the close-knit team of investment, finance and investor relations professionals, and be the key point of contact for external counsels (international law firms across the region). As the firm has a key remit to invest into Greater China, business proficiency in Mandarin and exposure to the China market will be preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers from law firms, who may be experiencing dwindling work in this area, to transit into an in-house role, where you can continue to leverage and expand on your skills.
In-house legal counsels who are trained transactional lawyers (across all disciplines), who miss the rigour of deal structuring, are welcome to apply.
