About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established international school as a Risk & Compliance Manager/ Senior Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening enterprise-wide risk and governance practices within a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and elevate the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, leading the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of risk policies, registers, and reporting to ensure best-in-class governance standards. Partner closely with senior leadership and risk owners to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate key risks, while delivering insightful reporting to the Board and committees on emerging risks and control effectiveness. Champion a forward-looking approach by leveraging systems and technology to enhance risk and compliance processes and lead robust incident management through root cause analysis and remediation. Oversee compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements, while advising stakeholders on governance best practices. Embed a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation through impactful training and engagement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field, with a strong track record in leading risk and compliance functions within complex organisations. You bring deep expertise in enterprise risk management and governance frameworks in the Education industry, alongside the confidence to engage and influence senior leadership and Board stakeholders. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, you have demonstrated success in driving transformation, enhancing processes, and implementing robust risk frameworks. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential, coupled with a passion for building a proactive, high-impact risk and compliance culture.
