SAP COE Lead (Solution Architecture) Global Manufacturing

Our client is a prominent market leader operating within Global Manufacturing, currently undergoing a significant digital transformation of their regional operations. We are seeking a high-caliber SAP leader to spearhead their Manufacturing Center of Excellence, acting as the primary custodian for SAP solution design and template governance. This is a pivotal leadership appointment that requires a rare blend of architectural depth and strategic business acumen to ensure that technology investments translate into seamless operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region.

Lead a team of SAP Solution Architects (MM) within an end-to-end SAP roadmap for a major regional Manufacturing player, taking full ownership of the SAP template and ensuring the integrity of the global system design. You will act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, capturing complex business requirements and translating them into robust, scalable S/4HANA solutions. Beyond the technical architecture, you will lead a high-performing regional team, managing a profit center P&L and budget planning while coaching talent to foster a culture of continuous improvement. From reviewing critical project milestones like fit/gap analyses and cut-over plans to identifying opportunities for process standardization, you will be the driving force behind a world-class COE that minimizes operational risk and maximizes system efficiency.

You will bring your experience of…
A proven track record as a Solution Architect or in a SAP COE role and you will leverage your deep technical and functional expertise of SAP MM within the manufacturing domain, ideally with an understanding of asset management or field service operations. You have exprience of at least three to five full-cycle implementations specifically within the S/4HANA PCE and GROW environments. Having spent at least five years in a regional leadership capacity – you possess the resilience to thrive in fast-paced settings and the executive presence to present complex pictorial strategies to senior management via PowerPoint. With a degree in Business or IT and a willingness to travel up to 30% across APAC, you are a self-starter ready to take full ownership of a sophisticated SAP landscape and drive meaningful change. You are comfortable with regional travel as part of the role.
