Security Risk Assessment (Senior Consultant), Consulting Firm
Our client is a consulting firm with a strong focus on cybersecurity, technology risk, and governance advisory services. They are seeking a Security Risk Assessment (Senior Consultant) to support regional client engagements across security architecture, technical risk, and cyber assurance, working closely with teams that advise organisations on regulatory and security best practices.
Role
The successful candidate will lead and support technical cyber risk engagements, including security architecture reviews, CII risk assessments, and threat modelling exercises. This role requires the ability to evaluate cloud, network, application, and infrastructure environments, assess technical security controls, and translate complex findings into practical risk recommendations for both technical and business stakeholders. The consultant will also contribute technical expertise to broader compliance and advisory projects, including secure design, SDLC, CI/CD, security acceptance testing, and information security management engagements.
Keperluan
- At least 3-5 years of experience in security architecture, technical risk, security engineering, cyber advisory, or a related field.
- Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure and security technologies such as firewalls, Active Directory, servers, network devices, and virtualised environments.
- Familiarity with threat modelling, security architecture documentation, network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and attack path analysis.
- Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity and access management, and relevant cybersecurity or technology risk frameworks.
- Strong client-facing, documentation, report writing, and stakeholder communication skills; relevant certifications such as CISA, ISSAP, CCNA/CCNP, Azure, or AWS certifications would be advantageous.
