Senior Accountant ( GL & Reporting)
A newly created Senior Accountant role has been established with one of the renowned international schools.
Key Responsibilities:
This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage and lead finance functions, ensuring seamless operational support for the School. You’ll play a key part in preparing monthly management reports and financial analysis, updating re-forecasts, and crafting impactful Board Papers. Additionally, you’ll contribute to shaping the annual budget, maintain the Risk Register, and oversee quarterly GST filings. The role also includes preparing monthly journals, schedules, and reconciliations, supporting smooth month-end and year-end closings, and managing cash flow projections. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the capitalization, tracking, and tagging of fixed assets, while implementing finance policies and procedures. With a chance to collaborate with key stakeholders, including the School Office, Group Finance, and financial institutions, this role offers a rewarding experience.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or its equivalent. A minimum of five years of relevant working experience is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in the education industry. External audit experience will be considered an advantage, as well as knowledge of SAP S4 Hana.
