Senior Manager, Risk Assurance (KL-based)

Description

This premier financial institution continues to record impressive financial performance and invest in innovation. It is seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly capable Senior Manager, Risk Assurance in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning and executing second-line assurance reviews across across investment management activities, including portfolio management, trading, investment operations, product governance, financial crime, AML, sanctions and sustainability risk. You will also champion the use of data analytics in assurance activities and help build capability across subsidiaries by providing training or leading joint reviews. Close collaboration with business stakeholders and regional risk teams is essential to remain abreast of key changes, emerging risks and regulatory developments.

Keperluan

You have at least 10 years of experience of internal audit or second-line assurance experience within banking, insurance or asset management industry. You bring strong technical knowledge of investment processes and a sound understanding of risk management, internal controls, compliance and auditing standards. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights.
