About the Role
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for shaping and executing technological vision and digital strategy. As a key member of the executive team, you will ensure that technology initiatives align with business goals and drive innovation across the organisation. Leading the Technology division, you play a pivotal role in transforming business operations, enhancing customer engagement, and maintaining competitiveness with technology, in the evolving market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the development of IT policies, strategies, and budgets, driving digital transformation across the company. This includes identifying and implementing new technologies, improving performance and user experience, and ensuring robust risk management and system security. The role involves monitoring KPIs, managing IT budgets, and communicating technological trends to stakeholders. You will foster collaboration across departments to integrate technology into all aspects of the business and champion strategic IT deployments that enhance service capabilities.
Key Requirements
You should have over 10 years of experience taking on technology leadership position, including at least 5 years in executive-level roles. A proven track record in driving business growth through technology, managing large-scale projects, and leading cross-functional teams is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with deep technical expertise in areas such as cloud computing, software development, data management, and AI integration. Familiarity with security protocols, compliance, and hybrid cloud environments is also required. Experience in media, news, or digital agencies is advantageous.
