Defect Inspection & Yield Engineering Lead – Semiconductor Technology
A global semiconductor player is hiring a Defect Inspection & Yield Engineering Lead to support advanced technology development programmes and drive defect reduction, process control, and yield improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
You will lead defect inspection strategy, drive root cause investigations, and work closely with Process Integration, Yield Engineering, Manufacturing, and Data Science teams to improve process performance and accelerate yield learning. The role will also involve evaluating next-generation inspection technologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, establishing best practices, and mentoring engineers across the organisation.
Requirements
You possess at least 7 years of semiconductor industry experience with strong expertise in defect inspection, process monitoring, yield improvement, and semiconductor technology development. Experience with optical and e-beam inspection systems, statistical analysis, root cause methodologies, and advanced manufacturing environments is highly preferred. You are a strong technical leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier organisations while driving execution in a fast-paced technology environment.
