- High Growth, International Hiring
Our client is a newly established, well-funded company headquartered in Singapore, operating in a complex, asset intensive sector. Backed by a major industry player, the organisation is rapidly building its capabilities and presence across key international markets, including the Americas and Asia Pacific. As it enters its next phase of growth, it is seeking to appoint an experienced Director, Talent Acquisition to build and lead a best-in-class talent acquisition function.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be the organisation’s first Talent Acquisition hire, with the mandate to build the function from the ground up. This is a highly hands-on role where you will personally lead end-to-end recruitment across experienced and senior executive hires, while establishing the strategy, processes, systems and capabilities required to support the company’s international growth. Working closely with senior leaders, you will serve as a trusted adviser on hiring strategy, talent market insights and succession planning, while proactively identifying and engaging critical talent across key markets. As the organisation scales, you will build out the talent acquisition function, strengthen employer positioning and introduce scalable, data-driven recruitment practices to support future growth.
Requirements
You are a degree qualified talent acquisition leader with a proven track record of building and scaling recruitment capabilities in high growth, international environments. Importantly, you bring experience from both large, complex multinational organisations and start-up or scale-up environments, demonstrating the ability to create structure, processes and capability where these are still evolving. You have led end-to-end recruitment across multiple levels and markets, with strong personal experience in senior executive hiring. Commercially astute and highly credible with senior stakeholders, you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, resourceful approach and thrive in environments characterised by growth, pace and change.
