IAM Engineer (Sailpoint), Financial Services
Overview
Kerry Consulting is currently partnering a Financial Services organisation to hire for an IAM Engineer (Sailpoint) to join their IT Security team and support the management of digital identities, access controls, and user permissions across critical systems.
Role
In this role, you will manage user access provisioning and de-provisioning, support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and respond to IAM-related requests and incidents. You will also assist with access reviews, maintain IAM documentation and records, support audit and compliance activities, and work closely with IT and business teams to resolve access-related issues. The role may also involve supporting IAM tool configuration, testing, and deployment initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT Operations, IAM, or access management roles, preferably within financial services or regulated environments.
- Good understanding of IAM lifecycle processes, access control principles, Active Directory, LDAP, ITSM platforms, and related integration methods such as JDBC, REST, SCIM, Web Services, and flat-file.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation using PowerShell or Python, with exposure to cloud IAM platforms such as Azure AD or AWS IAM.
- Strong knowledge of financial sector regulatory and compliance requirements in Singapore, including MAS guidelines, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and data protection standards; excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
