What You Will Get To Do
-Play a Product Owner role: You’ll get to act as the C/ETRM product owner, taking ownership of problem analysis, root cause identification, solution proposal, and change management.
-Drive critical projects: You’ll get to work on diverse projects across their front, middle, and back-office technology landscape, including exciting system integration initiatives driven by their recent expansion.
-Innovate and optimize: You’ll get to propose and implement groundbreaking processes and calculation methods, particularly within Middle Office processes, market data management, and the crucial Coal, LNG, and Freight business areas.
-Collaborate globally: You’ll get to work closely with our global teams, users, and IT delivery teams, ranging from nimble agile squads to large-scale IT/vendor partnerships.
-Influence and impact: You’ll get to directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our trading operations by analyzing problems, creating mock-ups, and performing hands-on system analysis.
-Grow your expertise: You’ll get to deepen your understanding of complex trading systems and processes within a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment.

What You Will Bring
-Your extensive IT Business Analyst expertise: You’ll bring your minimum of 5 years proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, ready to tackle complex challenges from day one.
-Your C/ETRM mastery: You’ll bring your hands-on experience with C/ETRM systems, such as Allegro, allowing you to seamlessly integrate into our technological landscape. If you have worked in an environment where applications are custom built that would be appreciated be helpful too.
-Your commodities trading knowledge enabling you to understand the nuances of our business and credit risk or market risk experience would be a bonus!
-Your valuation prowess: A nice to have would be if you can bring hands-on experience around trading portfolio valuations from a Technology perspective
-Your analytical horsepower: Another nice to have is if you can bring your strong analytical skills, evidenced by your experience analyzing trade data using tools like SQL, PowerQuery, Power BI, and Excel.
-Your proactive and adaptive mindset: You’ll bring your ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and adapt your communication style to thrive in diverse IT delivery environments.
-Your structured problem-solving approach: You’ll bring your methodical and structured approach to problem-solving, ensuring robust and effective solutions.
