Legal Counsel – 4+PQE

An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to support the organisation’s day-to-day legal needs across the region. This role focuses on providing practical legal guidance, supporting commercial operations, and ensuring compliance with local requirements. It is an excellent opportunity for a developing legal professional looking to broaden their exposure in a regional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clear and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Draft and review standard commercial agreements, including vendor, distributor and service contracts.
• Support compliance matters such as data protection, anti-bribery and internal policies.
• Assist with basic employment-related queries and operational legal issues.
• Help maintain corporate records, statutory filings and routine governance requirements.
• Coordinate with external counsel where needed.
• Support internal teams with legal documentation and straightforward risk assessments.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4PQE, gained in-house or private practice.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on routine matters and escalate more complex issues.
• Organized, reliable and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Prior exposure to technology or consumer products is beneficial but not required.
