Description

Our client is a well-established financial institution with a strong international presence and an ongoing investment in business and technology transformation. As part of its continued focus on strengthening finance capabilities and enterprise-wide change initiatives, the organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Functional Business Analyst (Finance) to support the delivery of strategic finance transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

Working closely with business, finance and technology stakeholders, you will lead business analysis activities across complex finance change initiatives. You will partner with subject matter experts to elicit, analyse and validate business requirements, perform impact assessments, define functional and non-functional requirements, and ensure alignment between business objectives and solution design. You will work closely with system analysts and project teams to maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements, manage risks, issues and change requests, and support solution delivery through SIT and UAT by reviewing test scope, prioritising defects and facilitating issue resolution. You will also play a key role in driving stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication and successful delivery of high-quality business outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree qualified, you possess at least 15 years of business analysis experience with a strong track record delivering finance-related transformation initiatives within large, complex financial institutions. You have a solid understanding of finance processes, financial systems, accounting principles and regulatory requirements, together with strong data analysis capabilities. Exposure to finance transformation, change management and project delivery methodologies will be highly regarded. You are an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence across business and technology teams, present complex concepts clearly, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
