This role sits within the finance team and supports end-to-end trade activities, offering valuable experience across multiple aspects of the business.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing trade-related finance processes, including handling receivables and payables for physical trading transactions, processing invoices, and supporting payment execution for cargo and related expenses. You will also assist in trade finance activities such as import and export letters of credit, review trade contracts, and liaise closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate trade and shipment information. In addition, you will follow up on payment approvals and provide support across finance and risk functions when required.

Requirements
The successful candidate holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in a trading or commodities-focused environment. Familiarity with trade finance instruments and operational workflows will be highly advantageous. You are best described as detailed-oriented with good communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively within tight timelines. A proactive mindset and willingness to take on ad hoc responsibilities across finance and risk functions will be essential for success in this role.
