Our client is a leading global multinational, renowned and respected for their innovation as well as their role as a Game Changer. As they continue to stay ahead of their game, the Finance organisation and resources will have to be best-in-class. Following a talent review, there is an opportunity for an energetic and aspiring finance professional to join them as they catapult to their next stage of growth and maturity in some of their key markets. This position will initially be based in Singapore and assigned to South Korea on a 3-year expatriate assignment.
Role
Working with the APAC Commercial Finance Director, you will initially be based in Singapore to assimilate and familiarise with the business. You will subsequently be assigned to South Korea and lead the Finance Organisation as a Commercial Finance Director, South Korea. Here you will manage the entirely of Finance including Controllership, FPA and to a very large extent Commercial Finance Business Partnering. As this is a full suite role, you can also expect to have oversight over finance operations, supply chain finance, commercial sales finance, in addition to back of the house accounting and finance.
Requirements
Ideally, you have around 15 years relevant commercial experience, gained in a commercial finance and business partnering capacity. You possess strong analytical and leadership skills, display sharp commercial acumen and have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Prior experience in fast paced industries with a demonstrated track record of adaptability and versatility are extremely desirable. You are resourceful and an excellent navigator who thrives in ambiguity. Candidates with past international work experience, including in Asia, will be highly preferred.
