Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing MedTech player with ambitions to conquer the world – one step at a time. Critical to this agenda, would be to have a strong Corporate Development/M&A professional to help chart this success.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the entirety of the M&A process from inception (including origination), driving the financial due diligence, negotiations, all the way to post-deal integration. You will leverage your extensive and broad network within the healthcare and life sciences sector and highlight targets of immediate interest, as well as build a healthy pipeline of interesting options in the medium to longer term. You will work with acquired companies in post-acquisition integration and function as a key focal point of contact with respect to performance management.
Requirements
Ideally you are degree qualified and have between 10-15 years relevant experience, of which a respectable amount should be within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. Prior investments experience is critical and a blend of IB/PE experience AND in-house corporate M&A experience will be ideal. You are a senior leader; one who is able to effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders. That being said, you are also operationally hands on and can work the details on the ground. You are adaptable and versatile, and thrive in a start-up/entrepreneurial environment.
