Analytics Product Owner, Retail
We are seeking an Analytics Product Owner to play a key role in delivering a large-scale data and analytics transformation within a leading global organization. In this role, you will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that analytics solutions are designed to solve real operational challenges. You will take ownership of the analytics product roadmap, driving the development of scalable, governed data products that support better decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
As the Analytics Product Owner, your primary responsibilities will include translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for data and engineering teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, document requirements, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation. You will play a hands-on role in guiding development activities, including reviewing designs, validating logic, and supporting delivery timelines.
You will take ownership of data quality and governance, ensuring that all metrics and dashboards are accurate, consistent, and aligned with agreed business definitions. This includes leading user acceptance testing, managing data definitions, and ensuring a trusted, single source of truth across the organization.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have at least proven experience in analytics product management, data strategy, or analytics consulting, with proven experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions. Strong experience working across business and technical teams is essential, along with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable data products.
You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data querying and validation (e.g., SQL). A solid understanding of modern data platforms and BI tools is required, along with familiarity with cloud-based data environments.
