Head of Analytics, Financial Services

We are seeking a Head of Analytics to lead and scale the firm’s data capabilities at this leading financial services firm. In this pivotal role, you will define and execute the data strategy, leveraging advanced analytics and data science to drive investment decisions, operational efficiency and business growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, investment teams, and technology partners to build impactful data solutions and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:
As the Head of Analytics your primary responsibilities will include setting the vision and roadmap for analytics and data science across the firm, identifying opportunities to generate value from data, and leading the development of advanced analytical and machine learning solutions. You will build and mentor a high-performing team of data professionals, establish best practices in analytics and experimentation, and oversee the delivery of dashboards, models, and insights that support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment, risk, and technology, to ensure data quality, governance, and infrastructure are fit for purpose. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder communications, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience. A strong track record of delivering business impact through data and analytics is essential. You should possess deep technical expertise in machine learning and AI. Strong business acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are critical, along with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
