Associate / AVP – FX & Derivatives Middle Office

We are partnering with a leading international financial institution to hire a Derivatives Middle Office professional to join their Singapore team – Associate / AVP.

Role Overview
This is an opportunity to join a growing platform where candidates will gain broad exposure across FX and Derivatives products while working closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance and Technology teams across the region.

The role sits within the FX & Derivatives Middle Office function and will be part of a lean and collaborative team supporting post-trade activities, controls, regulatory obligations and operational initiatives across the business. Beyond BAU responsibilities, the team is also actively involved in driving process improvements, automation initiatives and supporting strategic change projects within the Operations platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with traders and various stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operational support across Rates, FX and Credit derivative products. Responsibilities will include trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, controls oversight, regulatory-related matters, process improvement initiatives and supporting new product or system implementations where required.

Requirements.
To qualify, candidates should ideally have at least 3 years of experience within Derivatives Middle Office or Operations with good product knowledge across derivatives, particularly within FX, Rates or Credit products. Familiarity with systems such as Murex and Markitwire will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management abilities and a proactive mindset will also be important for success in the role.
