Cyber Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Firm
Overview
Our client is a cybersecurity firm supporting enterprise and public-sector organisations in strengthening their defence against advanced threats. They are seeking a technically accomplished cybersecurity professional to develop and implement deception-led security capabilities across on-premise, application and cloud environments.
Role
You will design realistic deception ecosystems using honeypots, decoy assets, honeytokens and simulated attack surfaces. The role involves studying adversary activity, identifying likely attack paths and converting technical findings into actionable detection and security improvements. You will also create bespoke tools and automation, connect deception technologies with SIEM, EDR and monitoring platforms, and work closely with red team, SOC and incident response specialists across multiple client engagements.
Keperluan

Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: reverse engineering and malware analysis, full-stack software development, or security architecture and threat modelling.

Sound knowledge of adversary behaviours, MITRE ATT&CK techniques and offensive security methodologies.

Practical experience in penetration testing, red teaming, threat hunting, incident response or a related cybersecurity discipline.

Ability to produce clear technical documentation, solution designs, architecture diagrams and investigation reports.

Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSCE, CREST or GREM would be advantageous.
