Description
Our client is an established private investment firm with a long-standing track record of investing across Asia. With a diversified portfolio of middle-market businesses and a collaborative, hands-on investment approach, the firm is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to join its Singapore-based finance team and support the continued growth of its investment platform.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end fund accounting and financial reporting for the firm’s private equity funds. This includes maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS, coordinating with external auditors and service providers, and managing capital calls and investor distributions. You will oversee quarterly NAV calculations, portfolio valuations and waterfall allocations, while preparing investor capital account statements and supporting investor reporting requirements. You will also monitor fund cash positions, perform bank and investment reconciliations, support tax reporting in partnership with external advisors, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and reporting requirements. In addition, you will contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, fund launches and other finance-related projects to strengthen operational efficiency.
Kelayakan
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, you have 7-9 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, hedge fund or alternative investment fund accounting. You possess a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, with experience in fund financial reporting, NAV calculations and investor reporting. CPA or CFA qualifications will be highly advantageous. You are highly analytical, meticulous and organised, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are a proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
