Trading Operator (LNG) – Leading Energy Company

Role
Reporting to the Head of LNG, execute end-to-end LNG cargo operations from contract confirmation to delivery and post-delivery reconciliation, coordinating closely with traders, shipping, terminals, and counterparties. Manage vessel nominations, schedules, and operational documentation, ensuring compliance with LNG contracts, HSSE standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor cargo quality, quantity, and voyage execution, resolve operational issues and claims, maintain accurate data in trading and operations systems, and proactively identify and mitigate operational and commercial risks.

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in maritime studies or a related field, with 2 – 4 years of experience in LNG, gas, or energy trading operations. Strong knowledge of LNG contracts, shipping terms (FOB/DES), maritime operations, and terminal procedures. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, able to manage multiple cargoes in a fast-paced trading environment, with proficiency in MS Excel and experience using ETRM or LNG operations systems preferred.
