ERP Business Transformation Lead

A leading public sector organisation in Singapore is seeking an ERP Business Transformation Lead to drive a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation across finance and materials management. This role is part of a nationwide initiative to modernise core financial and operational systems, strengthening governance, reporting, and efficiency across the healthcare ecosystem. The programme will have a direct impact on how public services are delivered, improving outcomes that affect the daily lives of people in Singapore.
Responsibilities
As Business Transformation Lead, you will be accountable for end-to-end programme delivery, leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA (FICO and MM) and ensuring alignment with a clean core strategy. This includes overseeing programme governance, guiding business process design, and managing delivery across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
You will work closely with finance, procurement, and technology teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, and aligned with broader enterprise architecture principles. A key aspect of the role will be managing interdependencies across parallel initiatives, while maintaining delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. You will engage senior stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making, and lead change management efforts to support adoption of new systems and processes across the organisation.
Requirements
You bring extensive experience leading large-scale ERP or enterprise transformation programmes within complex organisations. A background in finance or accounting is essential, with a strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly across Finance and Materials Management, is important, though the focus of the role is on driving business outcomes rather than system configuration.
You have a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, including vendor and partner management. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, programme governance experience, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments are critical. A degree qualification is required, and programme management certification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
