GenAI Data Scientist, Financial Services

We are seeking a Data Scientist with deep expertise in Generative AI and the AWS ecosystem to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions across this leading financial services firm. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building advanced LLM applications, working closely with business, engineering and data teams to translate a robust pipeline of use cases into scalable, high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities:

As the Data Scientist specialising in GenAI, your primary responsibilities will include developing, fine-tuning, and operationalising large language models and generative AI systems using AWS-native tooling. You will collaborate with engineering, cloud architecture, and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions ranging from RAG pipelines and document intelligence systems to intelligent agents and workflow automation tools.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have 3-7 years of experience in data science or machine learning, with hands-on expertise in Generative AI techniques and the AWS AI/ML stack. Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks is essential. You should demonstrate the ability to translate business problems into AI solutions, influence cross-functional teams, and communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
