Sharepoint Developer, Education

We are seeking a SharePoint Online Developer to enhance, maintain and evolve the intranet and collaboration ecosystem for a large, technology-forward education institution. In this key role, you will ensure the reliability, security and performance of the organisation’s SharePoint Online environment, partnering closely with business and academic teams to deliver intuitive, well-governed digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

As the SharePoint Online Developer, your core focus will be to oversee the day-to-day health and optimisation of the SharePoint Online tenant and associated collaboration platforms. You will work with content owners to create and manage intranet sites, support user requests ranging from access issues to enhancement needs and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience building, configuring and supporting solutions on SharePoint Online. Strong technical capability in modern SharePoint frameworks and Microsoft 365 tools is essential – including experience with SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, PowerShell, and related technologies such as .NET, Node.js, Azure services and Microsoft’s Power Platform.
