Head of Technology – Datacenter Infrastructure Scale-up

This employer is a high-growth, Singapore-headquartered spin-off from a data center giant, backed by blue-chip private equity. They are the “engine room” of the AI revolution, providing standardized, modular MEP and cooling infrastructure to hyperscale developers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
With a large projected revenue and an aggressive expansion plan, they are transitioning from a subsidiary model to a standalone global powerhouse. We are seeking a Head of Technology to lead the “0 to 1” build-out of their entire IT ecosystem.
This is not a “maintenance” role. This is for an ambitious technology leader who wants to point at a global, billion-dollar platform and say, “I built the backbone of that.” You will join a team that combines the financial backing of an industry titan with the agility and upside of a startup.

Responsibilities
Design and architect a global technology ecosystem from a completely blank canvas. You will move beyond legacy maintenance to build the company’s entire IT backbone from scratch, including the implementation of critical ERP, HRIS, and finance systems that will support a rapidly scaling workforce across Singapore, and globally. This is a rare opportunity to own the digital roadmap for a billion-dollar platform, where you will establish global cybersecurity policies and technology standards that ensure seamless delivery to hyperscale clients worldwide.
Lead the charge into industrial AI innovation while driving high-impact strategic change. Working directly with the CEO, you will act as a vital bridge between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring that technology serves as a catalyst for speed and quality in a high-stakes B2B service environment. As the company prepares for enormous growth, you will play a pivotal role in evolving the business into a standalone global leader, leveraging your vision to implement AI use cases that optimize infrastructure deployment on an international scale.

Requirements
You are an IT Generalist who has experience building enterprise applications systems within the infrastructure, energy infrastructure, transport infrastructure or EPC sectors. Your background in managing large-scale project management tools and complex ERP implementations allows you to navigate the technical requirements of global operations, ensuring that the technology stack is both robust and scalable as the company expands into new markets like the US.
Not mandatory but nice to have is if you possess a proven track record of leading “0 to 1” build-outs, demonstrating the ability to prioritize needs in an unstructured startup environment while maintaining the professional standards of a multinational.
Navigating complex, cross-border environments with strong business acumen and cultural agility. Having worked across multiple markets, you bring a deep understanding of global regulatory and compliance landscapes, complemented by the humble, people-centric leadership style necessary to manage diverse teams in Singapore and Shanghai. Your “player-coach” mentality means you are as comfortable setting high-level strategy as you are getting hands-on with vendors.
