AVP – Trading Operations & Liquidity Management

Our client, a leading international bank, is looking to appoint an experienced Operations professional to join its Operations team in Singapore. The successful candidate will serve as the deputy to the Team Manager, providing operational leadership, subject matter expertise and ensuring the smooth delivery of critical operations across the region.

Responsibilities
This is a senior operational role that combines hands-on production responsibilities with leadership, risk oversight and process improvement.

The role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in capital markets operations who has deep expertise across payment infrastructure, settlement, liquidity management and regulatory controls. You will play a key role in supporting daily trading operations, resolving complex operational issues, driving process enhancements and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.

You will oversee the end-to-end operational processing of FX, Money Market, Fixed Income and Derivatives transactions, ensuring timely settlement, accurate confirmations and effective resolution of exceptions. The role also involves supporting intraday liquidity management across Asian currencies, managing CNY clearing and settlement activities, overseeing MEPS+ payment processes and maintaining a strong understanding of market infrastructure and payment systems.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 to 10 years of banking operations experience within Treasury or Capital Markets Operations, with strong practical knowledge of MEPS+, CNY clearing and settlement, and intraday liquidity management. Exposure to FX, Money Market, Fixed Income and Derivatives operations is essential, together with a sound understanding of Singapore payment infrastructure, financial market settlement processes and operational risk management.
