CTRM Application Support / Business Analyst, Commodity Trader!

You will have the opportunity to:
drive end-to-end functional application support (70-80% of role) and business analysis (20-30% of role) for core CTRM/ETRM systems across both physical and financial/paper trading portfolios. Acting as a trusted partner to front-office traders and post-trade departments, you will deliver exceptional customer service, manage trading risk concepts – including position tracking, P&L, and mark-to-market valuations – and translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. Furthermore, you will leverage your expertise to manage database designs, write SQL queries, generate impactful reports, and ensure high system availability in a deadline-driven, multi-cultured commercial ecosystem.

You will bring your experience of:
application support or business analysis with at least 4 years of hands-on technical experience, including a minimum of 2-4 years operating directly within a fast-paced commodity trading environment. Backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, you possess a comprehensive understanding of the physical trade life cycle, market data feeds (such as Bloomberg, Trayport, or ICE), and strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.
A self-motivated and creative problem-solver, you excel at managing multiple priorities under minimum supervision, while your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to communicate effectively with both technical teams and commercial stakeholders. Exposure to the Japanese Power trading business will be a nice to have.
