We are partnering with a Leading Bank to recruit a Director, Sustainable Finance to be based in Singapore. This pivotal role will drive sustainable finance solutions and strategic client partnerships across various industry sectors, enabling businesses to achieve their sustainability goals while ensuring the Bank’s profitable growth and market leadership in sustainable banking.

Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will design and implement comprehensive sustainability transition strategies that advance the Bank’s Net Zero commitments and business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative sustainable finance solutions, supporting clients’ transition towards sustainable business models. As a thought leader in sustainable finance, you will represent the organisation at industry events and foster strategic partnerships. A crucial aspect of this position involves mentoring and developing team members whilst cultivating a culture of innovation and sustainability across the organisation. You will drive the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives and deliver measurable impact in sustainable finance.

Requirements
You bring 12 to 15 years of experience in financial services with a strong focus on sustainability initiatives, complemented by a relevant degree qualification. Your career demonstrates progressive leadership experience in managing teams, driving business development, and building strategic client relationships. You have in-depth knowledge of sustainability trends, ESG regulations, and their market and industry implications, along with the expertise to develop practical banking solutions tailored to client needs. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and influencing skills, and the ability to balance sustainability with business growth objectives are essential.
