The Head of Cyber Operations will lead the organisation’s cyber defence capability, overseeing 24×7 Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering and Incident Response. The role is responsible for driving the transformation of Cyber Operations into a proactive, intelligence-led function while strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the enterprise Cyber Operations function, including SOC, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering and Incident Response.
- Drive the modernisation of Cyber Operations through automation, AI and threat-informed defence capabilities.
- Enhance threat detection, investigation and response capabilities to improve operational effectiveness.
- Lead major cyber incident response, crisis management and post-incident reviews.
- Operationalise cyber threat intelligence to strengthen detection, threat hunting and vulnerability prioritisation.
- Optimise SOC processes, playbooks and operational metrics to improve efficiency and reduce analyst workload.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide executive reporting on cyber threats, major incidents, operational performance and cyber risk posture.
- Partner closely with Technology, Infrastructure, Risk and Business teams to strengthen enterprise cyber resilience.
Persyaratan:
- More than 15 years of relevant experience, including recent leadership of Security Operations or Cyber Defence teams.
- Strong experience across SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting and Detection Engineering.
- Proven track record leading cyber operations transformation and security automation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, MITRE ATT&CK, DFIR and cloud security.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, GREM, GCIA or CISM are preferred.
