Head of Products – Life Insurance
We are seeking a Head of Product who brings deep expertise in life insurance and the ability to build and scale products in a fast-paced, start-up environment within a larger financial ecosystem.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the full spectrum of life insurance-from protection and savings products to product mechanics, distribution needs, regulatory requirements, underwriting considerations, and customer behaviour across different life stages.
In this position, you will shape the entire product vision and strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to define requirements, work closely with partners, and guide products through development and launch. You will be responsible for turning customer insights, market research, and business priorities into life insurance solutions that are relevant, competitive, and easy to understand.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with strong commercial sense, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to bridge the worlds of insurance, technology, and customer experience. You should have a solid understanding of life insurance mechanics, including pricing fundamentals, underwriting philosophies, regulatory constraints, product design, and claims considerations.
