Senior AI Engineer – Financial Trading

We are partnering with a leading financial trading firm to hire a Senior AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions across trading, risk, and portfolio management systems. This role will be instrumental in leveraging data and AI to enhance trading performance, automation, and decision-making.

Peran

You will participate in the end-to-end development of AI models and data-driven systems that directly impact trading strategies and market execution. Working closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and technology teams, you will build scalable, low-latency solutions that translate research insights into production-ready algorithms.

You will also contribute to platform architecture, tooling, and best practices for AI model lifecycle management, ensuring performance, robustness, and interpretability in live trading environments.

Requirement

You are degree-qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in AI or machine learning engineering, ideally within financial markets, trading, or quantitative research environments.

You have strong programming skills in Python and one or more compiled languages (C++ or Rust), with deep hands-on expertise in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.

You have deep familiarity with LLM frameworks and APIs (e.g., Vertex AI, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API) and experience integrating generative AI capabilities into production systems.

A strong understanding of distributed systems, GPU computing, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or on-prem clusters), and data engineering tools (Kafka, Spark, Arrow) is highly valued.

You are a collaborative problem solver with the ability to translate research into impact, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
