Head of Procurement, Data Centres
An emerging digital infrastructure player, our client has announced exciting plans to accelerate their growth trajectory and scale their operations. To support their ambitious business objectives, they are looking for a seasoned Strategic Procurement leader to join their team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement strategy, sourcing and commercial management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of critical infrastructure projects while maintaining supply resilience and quality. You will oversee the procurement of data centre equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, GPUs, servers, networking hardware, construction services, energy and indirect spend, developing strategic supplier partnerships and negotiating complex commercial agreements with global OEMs, EPC contractors and technology vendors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive procurement governance, contract management, cost optimisation, inventory and supply risk mitigation while supporting aggressive expansion timelines across multiple markets. As the organisation scales, you will build a high-performing procurement organisation to support long term growth agenda and initiatives.
Experience
Ideally, you are a seasoned Procurement leader with strong expertise in the data centre and/or technology space. You have a track record in building and scaling a procurement function, evaluating and securing suppliers to drive long term commercial value for the organisation. To succeed in this role, you will be describe as agile, entrepreneurial and operationally hands-on.
