In line with its strategic ambitions, there is now an opportunity to appoint a Chief Corporate Development Officer to partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer in shaping enterprise-wide strategy, governance and execution.

      Role

      Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the CEO’s strategic partner, driving enterprise-wide alignment, governance and execution across the organisation. Operating at the centre of the business, you will oversee Board and executive governance, coordinate leadership priorities and translate strategic objectives into measurable organisational outcomes. The role will lead enterprise performance management through the development of corporate scorecards, KPI frameworks and strategic budgeting in close partnership with Finance. You will also establish robust programme management disciplines to drive execution across key strategic initiatives while identifying opportunities to optimise performance across the organisation. You will also be leading the organisation’s corporate development agenda, including M&A, strategic partnerships and post-merger integration. Additionally, you will champion the enterprise AI and innovation roadmap, driving digital transformation initiatives, automation opportunities and innovation programmes that strengthen organisational capabilities and support long-term growth.

      Requirements

      Ideally, you possess at least 15 years of leadership experience spanning corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or a comparable executive leadership role within a sizeable organisation. You have a demonstrated track record working with Boards and senior leadership teams, coupled with experience leading strategic planning, enterprise transformation and complex cross-functional initiatives. You bring strong commercial and financial acumen with exposure to M&A transactions, corporate finance, budgeting and enterprise performance management. An appreciation of AI, digital transformation and technology-enabled business innovation will be highly critical. You possess outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the executive presence to engage effectively across Boards, C-suite leaders, government agencies and strategic partners.
