Head of Infrastructure & Cloud
A leading organisation in the financial services sector is hiring a Head of Infrastructure & Cloud in Singapore. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise-wide infrastructure and cloud strategy across a complex, regulated environment. The position offers the opportunity to drive large-scale transformation towards cloud-first, resilient platforms while supporting critical business operations.
Responsibilities
You will define and execute a multi-year infrastructure and cloud strategy aligned with business and regulatory priorities, while leading the evolution towards automated, scalable and highly resilient platforms. The role oversees end-to-end infrastructure and cloud operations across hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, performance and security.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and business teams to deliver solutions that support growth and innovation, while maintaining strong governance. In addition, you will manage vendor partnerships and technology investments, optimise cost through effective financial oversight, and build a high-performing team with a focus on capability development and continuous improvement.
Requirements
You bring extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure and cloud environments, ideally within a regulated industry such as financial services. A strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), infrastructure operations, and modern engineering practices such as DevOps, SRE and automation is essential. You have a track record of driving transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and platform modernisation, alongside effective vendor and cost management.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and translate technology strategy into business outcomes. Prior experience building and developing high-performing teams is expected, supported by a solid academic foundation in a relevant discipline.
