Head of Legal (Real Estate)
As part of overall business growth, the client has a new mandate to onboard a Head of Legal for a high potential business unit to further expand its regional footprint.
This role works closely with the management team to drive acquisitions and strategic work to safeguard the organization’s growth plans.
Responsibilities
This is a mixed transactional (M&A) and corporate governance/compliance heavy role, partnering closely with legal teams at the group level and most closely with management team at the business unit level.
Due to the regional coverage of this role, you’d be engaging with on-site counsels across various countries with varied legal nuances. An enterprising senior legal professional who can maneuver thise regional coverage, either through prior experience or AI usage for precedence, would have a higher chance of success in this role.
Requirements
At least 13PQE onwards legal professional who has demonstratable experience working on M&A projects in complex matrix reporting type real estate companies.
You ideally bring strong experience navigating cross-border transactional work, and be able to maximize the use of available legal resources, on top of available external counsel use.
This role suits someone who is keen to step up into a Head role, reporting directly to the CEO and be in a clear decision making capacity.
