Our client is an established institution with a strong commitment to service excellence. Due to talent movements, there is now an opportunity for a seasoned FPA professional to join them at the Group level.

Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will drive financial planning, budgeting and performance management activities while providing commercial and analytical insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable resource allocation. You will lead the annual budgeting process, multi-year forecasting exercises and long-term financial planning initiatives, translating strategic priorities into operational execution. Working closely with stakeholders, you will provide guidance on budget utilisation, financial sustainability and spending optimisation, while fostering greater financial accountability across the organisation. A key aspect of the role involves partnering with business leaders on capital and strategic investment initiatives.

Requirements

Ideally, you hold a Degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline and are a Chartered Accountant or possess an equivalent professional qualification. You bring at least 15 years of relevant experience across financial planning and analysis, budgeting and business partnering, together with proven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams. You possess strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, coupled with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across diverse functions. Experience supporting large and complex organisations, evaluating strategic investments and driving budgeting and forecasting processes will be highly advantageous. Exposure to SAP HANA, or similar enterprise systems would be beneficial.
