Operations Director (Flavor & Food Ingredients Industry)

Description

Our client, a well-established global manufacturer within the Flavors & Food Ingredients industry, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the end-to-end operations of its Singapore manufacturing facility. This is a strategic leadership position with full responsibility for the site’s operational performance, overseeing the entire value chain from procurement and planning through manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and customer fulfilment.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the regional leadership team and serving as a member of the APAC Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the long-term operational strategy for the Singapore site while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction. You will lead a multidisciplinary operations organisation, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the business. Working closely with commercial, quality and regional stakeholders, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, optimise supply chain performance, strengthen organisational capability and ensure the site remains well positioned to support the company’s continued growth across Asia Pacific. You will also champion Lean initiatives, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance while maintaining a strong customer-centric mindset.

Requirements

The successful candidate will bring proven leadership experience within the flavors, food ingredients, food manufacturing or other highly regulated process manufacturing industries. You should have a strong track record of leading integrated manufacturing operations, driving operational transformation and developing high-performing teams across multiple functions. Experience partnering closely with commercial teams, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing complex manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
