Cybersecurity Engineering Lead, MNC

Overview

Our client is a leading MNC with a complex enterprise technology environment and a strong focus on cyber resilience. They are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineering Lead to manage and optimise key security platforms, strengthen operational effectiveness, and uplift cyber engineering capabilities across the organisation.

Peran

The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for the operations, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise security platforms, including SIEM, EDR, email security, and mobile security solutions. This role will drive platform optimisation, automation, reporting, and service quality across internal and outsourced engineering resources. The individual will also develop technical capabilities within the team, define relevant security use cases, and ensure platforms are effectively deployed and maintained to support evolving cybersecurity needs.

Persyaratan

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in security platform engineering, particularly across SIEM, EDR, and enterprise security tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, or similar security platforms would be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity threats, MITRE ATT&CK, attack vectors, mitigation controls, and security operating models.
• Proficiency in scripting, query languages, and automation tools such as Python, KQL, or PowerShell; DFIR experience would be an advantage.
