Legal Counsel, Financial Institution (6-8 years PQE)

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading financial institution that is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Singapore legal team. The organisation has a strong presence across ASEAN and international markets. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day legal matters.

Tanggung Jawab

The role covers a broad mix of transactional, regulatory, and advisory work. You will draft and negotiate financial and commercial agreements, including ISDA documentation, securities lending, outsourcing, and technology contracts. You will also support ECM/DCM transactions, M&A advisory work, brokerage documentation, new product launches, and regulatory matters under Singapore financial services laws.

Persyaratan

This opportunity is suited to a lawyer with at least 6 years’ PQE gained in a reputable law firm and/or financial institution. Strong experience in financial services and capital markets will have an advantage. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a lean team and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Singapore qualification is strongly preferred, though candidates qualified in other common law jurisdictions will also be considered.
