Legal Counsel (Japanese Speaking)
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing international organisation with a strong presence across global markets. As part of its continued expansion in Asia, they are seeking a Japanese-speaking Legal Counsel to join the APAC Legal team, providing legal support to the Japan business and partnering closely with regional stakeholders on a broad range of commercial matters.
Tanggung Jawab
You will provide legal advice on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters across the Asia Pacific region. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on strategic transactions and cross-border business initiatives and provide practical legal guidance on regulatory and compliance issues. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify and manage legal risks, support dispute resolution where required, coordinate with external counsel and ensure legal documentation aligns with the company’s commercial objectives.
Persyaratan
You should be a qualified lawyer with strong commercial legal experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house legal team. Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese is essential to support Japanese-speaking stakeholders and review legal documentation. You should possess strong communication with ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced international environment.
