A global financial institution with a strong presence across Asia and Latin America is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its growing team. The company specializes in private credit, venture capital, and structured finance, providing innovative financial solutions across multiple markets. This position offers significant exposure to complex global transactions.
About the Role
This role supports investment and regulatory functions, covering transactional structuring, compliance, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. You will work on cross-border financings, M&A, fund investments, and general corporate legal matters, collaborating with stakeholders across jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include providing legal support on structured finance, fund investments, and transactions; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing agreements, security documents, and commercial contracts; advising on regulatory compliance, licensing, and corporate governance; and assisting with dispute resolution and risk management.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer (Singapore or Commonwealth jurisdiction) with 6+ years PQE.
- Experience in financial services, private credit, or corporate/M&A law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
