Our client is a well-backed and high performing financial institution with ambitious growth plans now expanding its presence in Asia Pacific. There is now a rare opportunity for a dynamic human resources leader to be part of a high energy pioneering team building out the firm’s businesses in the region.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting role where you will set up from scratch, develop and lead the human resources function partnering the APAC CEO and business leaders in developing and executing its HR strategy to establish the firm as an employer of choice. You will design and deploy an employee value proposition consistent with the firm’s mission, vision, values and behaviours; and adopt best practices across talent attraction and retention, talent management and development, rewards and benefits, and employee engagement. You will be a culture champion and role model embodying the values and behaviours of the firm. As the firm grows both organically and inorganically, there will be exciting opportunities to be involved in due diligence and post M&A HR integration work.

Requirements

You are degree qualified with demonstrated track record and relevant human resources set-up experience ideally gained in financial services or adjacent sectors. Experience in both large global institutions as well as mid sized firms will be preferred. You are well-versed in financial services regulations and labour legislations in the region. You are innovative, future-focused, strategic yet highly hands on. You have a genuine interest in people, humility and high EQ. Strong presentation and communication, as well as stakeholder management skills working with colleagues of international backgrounds will be essential.
